
Here are some really simple facial scrubs using just two or three ingredients.
Select the variation to suit your skin and make up as you want to use it.
Once the ingredients are blended, simply use your fingertips to rub the paste over your face in small circles and then rinse off with warm water, pat dry and moisturize.
Use an exfoliator like this once or twice a week.
Oat scrub
Blend 1tsp oats with ½ tsp witch hazel
Add add ½ tsp oil to suit your skin.
Use thistle oil for dry, oily or normal skin
Use rosehip oil for mature skin
Use comfrey oil for sensitive skin
Use hemp seed oil for acne prone skin
Salted honey scrub
Blend 1tbsp honey with 1tsp sea salt
Add a few drops of oil to suit your skin.
Herb scrub
Blend 1 tbsp ground almonds with 1 tbsp fine oatmeal
Add 1 tsp dried herbs to suit your skin
Mix in a little rosewater or herbal infusion to form a paste
Use hops for dry skin
Use chamomile for oily skin
Use elderflowers for normal skin
Use rosemary and rose petals for mature skin
Use chamomile and rose petals for sensitive skin
Use lavender for acne prone skin
Earth scrub
For dry skin – blend 1 tbsp pink clay with a little marshmallow leaf infusion
For sensitive skin – blend 1tbsp white clay with a little elderflower infusion
For acne-prone skin – blend 1 tbsp white clay with a little milk
For oily skin – blend 1 tbsp yellow clay with a little diluted honey
For normal skin – blend 1 tbsp green clay with a little aloe vera juice
For mature skin – blend 1 tbsp white clay with a little rosewater
